Senior QA Analyst/Software
Labcorp is seeking a Senior QA Analyst / Software to join our team in a remote capacity. Location: Remote Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility. Work Schedule: This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible. Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for web, API, and mobile applications supported by database systems.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define requirements, refine user stories, and identify test scenarios.
- Perform manual and automated testing within Agile development cycles to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites using frameworks such as Selenium.
- Create and maintain test cases, execute regression testing, and validate system quality prior to release.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and partner with development teams to resolve issues.
- Support continuous integration processes by maintaining automated test pipelines.
- Troubleshoot test failures, including analyzing regression results and identifying root causes.
- Provide Tier-level testing ownership of features and user stories, including test planning and execution.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to overall test strategy, coverage, and execution standards.
- Provide feedback on application usability, performance, and functionality.
- Contribute to improving testing tools, frameworks, and processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 8 or more years of experience in software testing and test automation for web, API, or mobile applications.
- 8 or more years of experience designing test cases, test strategies, and automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Cypress, REST Assured, Postman, JMeter, or Appium.
- 8 or more years of experience working in Agile development environments.
- 8 or more years of experience working with SQL and relational databases.
- 5 or more years of experience working with AWS services such as SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, S3, or OpenSearch.
- 5 or more years of experience using continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or TeamCity and development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or Splunk.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience performing API testing using SOAP or REST services with tools such as SoapUI, Postman, or REST Assured.
- 3 or more years of experience developing automation code using Java.
- 3 or more years of experience working with test automation frameworks across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, or desktop applications.

The Senior QA Analyst / Software plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Labcorp's software platforms. This position leads testing strategies, executes both manual and automated testing, and partners with engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality applications. The role also contributes to continuous improvement in testing practices, tools, and frameworks while supporting scalable and efficient software delivery.
