Junior Copywriter, Social – Community
Job Description:
- Own daily community management across all social platforms (including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook) with a focus on monitoring and responding to comments, direct messages, and user generated content
- Maintain fast, thoughtful responses across social platforms while balancing humor, warmth, and brand self-awareness
- Collaborate with the Influencer/Marketing team to create copy for seeding initiatives, gifting, launches, and VIP communications
- Monitor and reply to comments on paid ads and support the Copy team as needed with in-asset copy and descriptions
- Draft comments for owned social content and reactive communications during launch periods, as well as captions and IG Threads as needed
- Track recurring community questions, feedback, and trends and proactively identify and escalate sensitive topics to necessary teams (including CX and Regulatory)
- Flag potential UGC and creators to relevant Social/Influencer teams
- Stay on top of platform-native behaviors, in-the-know humor, internet culture, and the conversations Starface should be a part of
- Assist with various copy projects as needed, including Big Yellow character development, product launches, evergreen marketing, brainstorms, and new social platforms
- Be available after hours when necessary for timely or urgent matters (including weekends)
Requirements:
- You have 2–3 years of experience in social media copywriting, community management, or brand writing
- You have a strong understanding of the Starface voice and how the brand shows up online
- You’re an excellent writer with a sharp sense of humor and strong grasp of tone, timing, and voice
- You’re collaborative, flexible, and able to work quickly while maintaining good judgment
- You’re optimistic, creative, and motivated by fun
- Experience in comedy, improv, or satirical writing is a plus, but not required :)
