Treasury Risk Analyst
Senior Treasury Consultant Jefferson Wells, a Sikich Company, is seeking a hands-on Senior Treasury Consultant to support a client engagement starting immediately. This is a fully remote, approximately 6-month contract opportunity for a seasoned treasury professional who can step in quickly and make an immediate impact. Pay Rate Hourly rate: $60-65+/hour W2, with flexibility based on experience. Let's talk! Position Overview The Senior Treasury Consultant will play a key role in managing day-to-day treasury operations across a complex, global environment. This individual will partner cross-functionally with accounting, finance, and external banking partners to ensure efficient cash management, accurate reporting, and ongoing support of liquidity and debt activities. This role requires a proactive professional who can operate independently, streamline processes, and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cash positioning activities, ensuring accuracy of balances, transactions, and reconciliations
- Manage cash reporting across multiple banking relationships, including consolidating and analyzing global cash activity
- Facilitate treasury system processes, including handling banking data files and ensuring proper integration into financial systems
- Execute payment transactions such as wires and occasional ACH, while maintaining strong controls
- Monitor and maintain treasury documentation, including bank statements and supporting records
- Evaluate banking fees and partner with financial institutions to optimize cost structures
- Lead the weekly cash forecasting process and provide insights around liquidity planning
- Support debt administration activities, including tracking borrowing activity, interest schedules, and payment deadlines
- Coordinate with internal finance teams to understand interest rate impacts (including SOFR) and implications on financial reporting
- Assist in monitoring compliance with credit facility requirements and reporting obligations
- Provide support for tax-related payments, including income and excise tax obligations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Significant treasury experience within a large, multinational organization
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel (advanced capabilities required)
- Experience working with foreign exchange transactions and global cash operations
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and independently in a dynamic environment
- SAP exposure is a plus, but not required
