Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Arizona. As a key member of our call center operations, you'll be responsible for providing effective and timely solutions to utility customer inquiries. You'll handle customer calls, escalate as necessary, and follow established call handling procedures to drive efficiency and achieve targets. Key Responsibilities
* Provide effective and timely solutions to utility customer inquiries
- Handle customer calls and escalate as necessary
- Follow call handling procedures, including transferring to appropriate departmental queues and maintaining established handling, hold, and make busy times
- Drive the call efficiently and focus on achieving Average Handling Time and After Call Work targets
- Complete ongoing training to stay abreast of products, services, and changes
- Work effectively as a team member
- Organize and prioritize daily tasks effectively
- Follow company safety, emergency, and evacuation plans
Essential Qualifications
* High School Diploma minimum
- At least one (1) year customer service experience in an inbound contact center
- Previous military experience encouraged to apply
- Ability to pass a background check
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Internet
- Typing speed of 30 wpm
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a call center environment
- Knowledge of utility services and products
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
