Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced full stack data engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a data engineer, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining large-scale data processing systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business insights and improve our services. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from batch data pipelines to real-time processing services, and collaborate with our engineering, product, and data science teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, build, and maintain large-scale data processing systems using distributed computing technologies such as Apache Spark and Flink

• Develop and implement data pipelines to process and transform data from various sources, including batch and real-time data streams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business insights and improve our services, including product development, marketing, and customer support
• Work closely with our data science team to develop and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics
• Develop and maintain high-quality documentation and technical guides for our data engineering systems and processes
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of our data engineering team's best practices and standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with our data engineering systems and processes, working closely with our engineering and operations teams

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on distributed computing technologies such as Apache Spark and Flink
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Scala, and Python
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Pig
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
• Experience with cloud-based data processing platforms such as AWS and GCP
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on distributed computing technologies such as Apache Spark and Flink
• Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics, including model development and deployment
• Strong understanding of data security and compliance, including GDPR and HIPAA
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of cloud-based data processing platforms such as AWS and GCP

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Pig
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
