Remote B2B Business Development Rep: Financial Services for Roofing and Construction Contractors

What You’re Selling Estmere is a remote accounting and CFO advisory firm that specializes in roofing and home service contractors. We help owners go from checking their bank balance to actually knowing their numbers, their cash position for the next 13 weeks, and what to focus on next. Contractors doing $2M–25M+ who haven’t had a real finance function are your buyers. They need what we sell. Your job is to find them and start the conversation. What You’ll Do:
- Build your pipeline through outbound prospecting, referral relationships, and industry events
- Run the full sales cycle from first contact through signed agreement
- Work alongside the founder early on, then own the process independently
- Do semi-annual check-ins with your clients to support retention and surface upsell opportunities
Who You Are:
- 3+ years in B2B sales to small business owners specifically
- Consultative by instinct. You ask more than you pitch. You build trust before you close.
- Comfortable generating your own leads. You don’t need a built pipeline to get started.
- Can hold a credible financial conversation. You don’t need to be an accountant, but you need to talk margin, cash flow, and ROI.
- Self-directed, motivated by building something long-term
- Experience in professional services, financial services, or trades-adjacent industries is a plus. Fit with the buyer matters more than the industry you came from.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $50,000 - $60,000
- Commission: Uncapped, paid on new MRR for up to 3 years per client
- OTE Year 1: $100,000+
- OTE Year 3: $300,000+ (built on a compounding book of retained clients)
