Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Security Engineer – Entra ID, Governance & Security at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing and enforcing security policies across Microsoft 365 services, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Overseeing the management and administration of Azure Active Directory, ensuring secure access and identity protection.
- Implementing and maintaining comprehensive security measures across Microsoft 365 environments to protect organizational data and resources.
- Collaborating with our team to develop and implement security strategies and best practices.
- Providing expert guidance and support to our customers on security-related matters.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats, and applying this knowledge to improve our security posture.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT, with a proven track record of working in a similar role with a focus on Microsoft security technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, including data protection and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with Microsoft security tools, including Microsoft 365 Defender and Azure AD.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
- Experience with cloud security platforms, including Azure and AWS.
- Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Certification in a relevant security discipline, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP.
