Key Responsibilities and Job Elements
As an Operations Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time, every time. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting, mentoring, and motivating your hourly workforce to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance
- Collaborating with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives
- Managing safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Lifting up to 49 pounds and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching to perform tasks
- Standing/walking for up to 12 hours during shifts in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Working in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
- Working in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
- Continuously climbing and descending stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
- Ability to work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
- Ability to work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
