Job Summary

As a Customer Success Engineer on our Amazon Redshift Service team, you'll work closely with our engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Working directly with our largest and most important customers to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Assisting pre-sales deals to onboard large-scale customers and ensure a seamless onboarding experience
  • Automating repetitive processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors
  • Collaborating with business and support teams to prioritize operational issues and communicate roadmaps with customers
  • Developing a deep understanding of our systems' architecture and customer use-cases and configurations
  • Helping to prioritize features and provide technical input to inform product development

Key Responsibilities

* Work closely with customers to identify and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure their success

  • Collaborate with pre-sales teams to onboard large-scale customers, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience and setting them up for success
  • Automate repetitive processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors, freeing up time for more strategic and high-value tasks
  • Prioritize operational issues and communicate roadmaps with customers, ensuring they're informed and aligned with our product development plans
  • Develop a deep understanding of our systems' architecture and customer use-cases and configurations, providing technical input to inform product development
  • Help prioritize features and provide technical input to ensure our products meet the evolving needs of our customers

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role, with a focus on customer success and technical advocacy
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving complex technical issues
  • Strong technical skills, with a focus on Amazon Redshift and related technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role, with a focus on customer success and technical advocacy
  • Experience working with large-scale customers and complex technical issues
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and data warehousing technologies
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
  • Certification in Amazon Redshift or related technologies
