Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative/Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our travel consultants and clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting travel consultants with researching and planning travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities
- Communicating with clients to gather trip details, preferences, and special requests, providing personalized recommendations and assistance
- Utilizing booking platforms and travel management systems to make reservations, confirm bookings, and process payments accurately and efficiently
- Liaising with airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, and other vendors to coordinate travel arrangements and secure the best available rates and accommodations
- Providing clients with relevant travel information, including destination guides, visa requirements, and travel insurance options, to enhance their travel experience
- Handling inquiries and requests from clients via email, phone, or online chat, providing prompt and professional assistance with booking-related questions and concerns
- Maintaining accurate records of bookings, payments, and client interactions in our database systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed, including preparing travel documents, coordinating schedules, and managing correspondence
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience in a customer service, administrative, or travel-related role (preferably)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in using booking platforms, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software applications
