Our Supply Chain Call & Contact Center team is the primary point of contact for our customers, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Customer Support Specialist.
Responsibilities
As an Entry-Level Customer Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in providing top-notch support to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
* Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email, resolving issues and providing timely updates on order status and delivery requirements
* Retrieving, researching, and resolving customer emails and service requests in a professional and courteous manner
* Analyzing customer spare parts requirement inquiries, facilitating responses, and resolving delivery problems
* Entering, tracking, monitoring, and coordinating customer order delivery requirements, ensuring seamless communication with internal stakeholders
* Managing multiple orders and research lists for specific customers, identifying trends and areas for improvement
* Supporting Customer Program Managers by maintaining reports, customer data, and managing customer expectations
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 1+ year of experience in customer service or a support organization, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
* 1+ year of experience interfacing with external customers and responding to support requests, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), with the ability to learn new systems and technologies
* Basic knowledge of Supply Chain principles, with a willingness to learn and adapt to our dynamic environment
* Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening shifts, midnight shifts, and weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 12 hours each day)
Nice-to-Haves
While not required, the following experiences would be beneficial:
* 1+ year of experience in aviation or aerospace, preferably in a customer service/support environment
* 1+ year of experience with SAP in support of Supply Chain functions, or similar ERP systems
* 1+ year of experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, systems, and processes
* 1+ year of experience working with supply chain strategies (e.g., inventory reduction, parts kitting, supplier consolidation, optimum flow, lead-time reduction)
* Adaptability to changing environments and customer needs, with a strong focus on continuous learning and improvement
