Job Summary

As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and efficient manner. You'll provide accurate information about our products, services, pricing, and promotions to customers, assist them in troubleshooting issues, resolving complaints, and escalating complex cases to the appropriate departments. You'll also maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt issue resolution and effective communication, and strive to meet and exceed individual and team performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and efficient manner

  • Provide accurate information about our products, services, pricing, and promotions to customers
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting issues, resolving complaints, and escalating complex cases to the appropriate departments
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt issue resolution and effective communication
  • Strive to meet and exceed individual and team performance targets, including response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction metrics

Required Skills and Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus

  • Proven experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in using customer service software, databases, and tools
  • Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Adaptability to evolving processes and technology
  • Empathetic and patient demeanor when dealing with customers
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a call center or customer-facing role

  • Knowledge of customer service software and tools
