Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Specialist II, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and the Animal Services - Pet Services team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing advanced clerical support, including operation of a personal computer and public contact work
- Delivering professional and courteous responses to customer inquiries regarding various County operations
- Performing customer service functions in support of the Animal Services - Pet Services team
- Answering telephone calls, typing letters and reports, maintaining records, and performing data entry
- Utilizing software applications to retrieve and enter data
- Performing other clerical functions, such as processing mail, filing, and scanning
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; one (1) year of experience in customer service duties involving frequent public contact
- Proficient in operating a personal computer and related software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain records, prepare reports, and understand oral and written instructions
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license required
