Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and manage high-performing data pipelines and a customer data platform that supports critical Enterprise Priorities. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll work closely with cross-functional partners to define and document requirements for building high-quality and impactful data products. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining complex data ingestion pipelines and transformations for data originating from multiple data sources (structured/unstructured)
• Crafting proof of concepts and providing expertise, guidance, and mentorship to other data engineering and analytics professionals on data standards
• Cataloging and documenting data sources to ensure data quality and integrity
• Supervising data pipelines for accuracy, missing data, enhancements, changes, and billing volumes to ensure timely and accurate data processing
• Building containerized applications with microservices architecture
• Reconciling data issues and alerts between various systems, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement
• Collaborating with multi-functional partners to define and document requirements for building high-quality and impactful data products
• Creating operational reports using visualization/business intelligence tools

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 8+ years of proven experience in Data Engineering or Business Analytics roles working with ETL, Data Modeling, and Data Architecture
• Expertise in crafting and implementing enterprise data pipelines using data engineering approaches and tools such as Docker, Glue, cloud-native EDW (Snowflake, Redshift), Kafka, Athena
• Strong dimensional data modeling (Star, Snowflake) and ER modeling skills
• Proficiency in building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code preferably with Terraform and AWS ecosystem
• Proficiency in SQL and one of Java, Python
• Experience with writing and reviewing version-controlled code (GitHub)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights and summarize sophisticated data to diverse audiences through visualizations
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently
• Experience working with and delivering to collaborators from multiple parts of the company

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience with the following technologies would be a plus:

• API development
• Familiarity with technologies like GraphQL, graph databases

Compensation and Benefits

As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll enjoy a competitive salary range of $134,500.00 - $215,000.00, as well as:
