Position Purpose

The Manager, Customer Experience Strategy will be responsible for leading discrete strategic projects or workstreams, serving as a thought partner to our online organization, and guiding the work of Analysts and Sr. Analysts. You will develop expertise in all elements of online retail, including market and customer dynamics, competitive landscape, technology trends, and category, pricing, social, and mobile strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Competitive and Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on external developments, identify opportunities and threats, and develop insights and solutions to communicate to executive audiences (10%)
  • Planning Process: Structure issues, prioritize analyses, and present readouts and work materials to team and key stakeholders (20%)
  • Strategic Projects: Drive one or more interconnected strategy and operational execution workstreams (70%)

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, marketing, or communications)
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in retail, e-commerce, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in retail/ecommerce or professional services (e.g., strategy consulting, private equity, or investment banking)
  • MBA/Master's degree in a related field
  • Strong skills in quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis, and strategic problem-solving
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functionally
