Key Responsibilities
As a Seasonal Benefit Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional support to client plan participants through phone, chat, and message center inquiries
- Guiding participants through the enrollment process and assisting with updates to their health care and/or pension plans
- Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our clients' needs and challenges
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and provide timely solutions
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of participant interactions and issues
- Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you will need to possess:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly assess participant concerns and develop effective solutions
- Ability to work in a structured environment, adhering to schedules, protocols, and standards of excellence
- High attention to detail, multi-tasking capabilities, and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to navigate multiple computer windows while on phone or instant messaging calls
- Self-motivation and autonomy to work effectively in a virtual environment, including online training and interactions with managers and supervisors via chat
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, with a typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
- Previous experience in a customer service-related field, with a high school degree required (Associate or Bachelor's degree a plus)
- Knowledge of health and welfare and/or defined benefit pension plans, as well as experience working in a call center environment, are desirable but not required
- Spanish language skills are also a plus
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Certification in customer service or a related field
