Director, Strategic Solutions
Job Description:
- Drive net new business by leveraging your existing relationships at pharma companies, biotechs, and CROs
- Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract close
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical operations, patient recruitment, and study management decision-makers
- Partner with our operations team to ensure smooth study onboarding and client satisfaction
- Represent 1nHealth at industry conferences and events such as SCOPE and DIA
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasting in our CRM (Pipedrive)
Requirements:
- 7+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in a quota-carrying, individual contributor role
- Proven book of business—you come with relationships at pharma, biotech, or CRO companies and know how to activate them
- Background in clinical trial services, patient recruitment, or a related clinical research service (strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with how clinical trials are staffed and managed, and who holds the budget for recruitment services
- Understanding of clinical trial buying cycles, including study budget timing, RFP processes, and preferred-vendor list dynamics
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong ability to engage clinical operations, project management, and VP-level decision-makers
- Comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving startup environment with high autonomy
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Pipedrive a plus) and modern sales engagement platforms
