PostgreSQL DBA - 100% Remote
Job Description:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA
- Experience in administering PostgreSQL databases
- Working experience using PostgreSQL ver. 16 and higher.
- Experience with Database and SQL Tuning using PostgreSQL
- Assist development teams in optimizing PostgreSQL
- PostgreSQL backup and restore
- Designing and managing PostgreSQL database schemas
- Proficient in SQL and advanced SQL
- Experience in security access control
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, able to work both in a team and solo
- Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
At least 3+ years of hands-on EDB administration with experience in below:
- EFM (EDB Postgres Failover Manager)
- Search Path
- EPAS Advanced Database administration
- VACUUM Full or 3rd party tools
- pgbouncer, pgpool
- EFM and streaming replication
- Logical replication
- PEM for monitoring
- MTK for migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL
- Backup and recovery Tool
Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
- Certification in PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Experience with PGD is preferred.
- Experience with MongoDB is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure - Nice to have
- Experience with other databases Like Oracle - Nice to have
