Your Role in Our Mission

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service to our clients and their members. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by answering incoming phone calls and resolving customer concerns related to claims, eligibility, insurance, and financial matters.
  • Responding to customer questions, providing comprehensive customer support, and forwarding requests to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Assisting callers with portal navigation, registration, password resets, settings, and other technical issues they may experience.
  • Documenting calls in detail, including concerns, actions taken, and completing templates to ensure all information is captured.
  • Interacting with team members, management, and customers in a professional manner and adhering to client SLAs and consistently meeting production targets.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Two or more years of inbound telephone customer service experience with strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and customer service skills.
  • An exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality, complying with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
  • Proficient knowledge of personal computers and applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, CRM, and OneNote.
  • Skilled in solving computer-related technical problems over the phone.
  • Excellent time management, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to talk and type simultaneously and multitask in a high-paced environment.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in provider, member, insurance, or claims, with Medicaid knowledge and experience strongly desired.
