Job Summary

As a Behavioral Health Customer Service Advocate at arenaflex Health Services, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to individuals navigating mental health challenges. You'll work closely with our members, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and address any concerns or questions they may have. Key Responsibilities

* Provide empathetic and informed support to individuals navigating mental health challenges, addressing their concerns and questions in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.

  • Work closely with our members, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify member needs and develop personalized plans to address their mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including care managers, medical directors, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with members, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure ongoing support and care.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and deliver high-quality care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral health.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.

  • 2+ years of experience in behavioral health, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of mental health principles, theories, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a related field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, including hospitals, clinics, or community-based organizations.
  • Certification in a related field, such as Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems.
