Experienced Call Center Customer Service Representative – IRS Compliance and Benefits Administration

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Call Center Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Staffing the phones for the duration of your shift, answering incoming and making outbound calls to provide exceptional customer service
- Educating callers on 403(b) and 457(b) IRS guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting participant actions on our website, including filling out forms and uploading documents
- Inputting data into system platforms and keeping caller records updated
- Maintaining customer satisfaction and meeting call center metrics based on assignments
- Adhering to the schedule and regularly attending department and company meetings and training sessions to stay updated on policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Education / Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a call center or high-volume customer service environment
- Experience in pension/retirement and/or benefits administration is a plus
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable
Language Skills:
As a Call Center Customer Service Representative, you will need to be able to:
- Read, write, and communicate 403(b)/457(b) IRS guidelines, policies, and procedures to participants with varying degrees of education
- Communicate effectively with plan participants, plan sponsors, financial advisors, and administration through calls or emails
Mathematical Skills:
You will need to be able to:
- Understand and calculate mathematical concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division – especially confirming payroll deductions for the participant
Physical Demands:
As a Call Center Customer Service Representative, you will need to be able to:
- Sit for extended periods, talk, listen, walk, grasp, type, and perform data entry

Work Environment:
As a fully remote Call Center Customer Service Representative, you will:
- Work independently under minimal supervision in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Interact with plan participants, plan sponsors, financial advisors, and administration through calls or emails
- Collaborate with internal company staff from our Rochester, NY office, CA office, and Fort Walton Beach, FL office
Availability:
You must be available to work 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
