Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service/Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Reaching out to individuals who have requested more information on the benefits we offer and scheduling Zoom meetings to discuss their options
  • Customizing new benefit plans and adjusting existing plans to fit the current needs of each client
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients through regular communication and follow-up
  • Performing benefit reviews for existing clients, as well as helping with any necessary claims or adjustments
  • Providing attentive customer service and administrative support in response to members' needs
  • Responding to and resolving client questions and concerns regarding their benefits
  • Ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete, and performing any necessary updates on schedule

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Ambition, motivation, and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using CRM software and other customer service tools

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
  • Familiarity with the supplemental benefits industry and its products
  • Certification in a related field, such as insurance or benefits administration
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As a Remote Customer Service/Sales Representative, you'll enjoy a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Weekly performance-based pay and bonuses, on average $65,000 to $68,500 first year annually
