The Role: Customer Operations Specialist – Workers Compensation Claims
As a Customer Operations Specialist – Workers Compensation Claims at arenaflex, you will be responsible for making high-volume, outbound calls to investigate, bill, and maximize payments on medical claims to insurance companies on behalf of our clients. Your day will be filled with:
- Investigating and resolving troubled and/or denied workers' compensation claims
- Making a high volume of outbound calls to patient employers, insurance company representatives, attorneys, and patients
- Submitting bills and proper documentation to the insurance company or the appropriate payer, ensuring maximized payments to our clients
- Reviewing information/documentation provided by the payer to determine the next steps
- Contributing to your team by participating in special projects to achieve goals and ensure client success
Training and Support
Our comprehensive training program begins on your first day and lasts 8-10 business days. You will receive extensive multi-week training with ongoing support from teammates following training. You will also have access to a robust knowledgebase for continued reference in your role.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Technical proficiency to work on multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously
- Strong performance in a fast-paced environment with productivity metrics
- Ability to remain organized while multi-tasking
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to find effective and efficient solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work in a distraction-free environment with a secure internet connection
- Residency in the United States within one of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, and West Virginia
