Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative (Bilingual Spanish) to join our team in a remote US role. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for responding to inbound and outbound call inquiries, initiating follow-up calls, and providing professional, friendly, and timely responses to all inquiries. You will perform support ticket transaction resolution tasks, maintain excellent documentation of all communications, and ensure compliance with audit and internal control requirements.
Responsibilities
• Respond to inbound and outbound call inquiries in a professional, friendly, and timely manner, understanding the needs of persons with disabilities.
• Initiate outbound calls to respond to inquiries and to follow-up with previous contacts.
• Perform support ticket transaction resolution tasks and administrative functions.
• Create and maintain excellent documentation of all calls, questions, complaints, and mailed inquiries.
• Maintain adequate records/documentation for audit and internal control purposes.
• Route mail, email, and other administrative support duties as assigned.
• Learn program rules of assigned projects to ensure ability to respond to customer service inquiries.
• Develop an excellent working knowledge of operating platforms required to fulfill job responsibilities.
Requirements
• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 6-month call center experience preferred; or 1-year customer service experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated understanding and ability to work with persons with disabilities.
• Ability to compose reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word preferred.
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Familiarity with Medicaid and long-term care services.
• Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Experience with data entry and record-keeping.
