Job Overview
As a Customer Security Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership and support to Premier customers worldwide. Your focus will be on optimizing IT environments in a consultative manner, ensuring they are healthy and future-proof against potential issues. This involves delivering guidance on best practices, performing risk assessments, supporting migrations, and providing both onsite and remote support services.
Key Responsibilities
• Copilot for Security: Develop and implement automated security solutions using AI-driven insights to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
- Microsoft 365 Defender Management: Manage, monitor, and configure Microsoft 365 Defender to protect against sophisticated threats across identities, endpoints, applications, and data.
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD): Oversee the management and administration of Azure Active Directory, ensuring secure access and identity protection.
- Microsoft Purview Information Protection: Develop and manage data protection strategies using Microsoft Purview to ensure compliance and safeguard sensitive information.
- Security for M365: Implement and maintain comprehensive security measures across Microsoft 365 environments to protect organizational data and resources.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT: Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on Microsoft security technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices: Experience with Microsoft security tools, including Microsoft 365 Defender and Azure AD.
- Familiarity with data protection and compliance frameworks: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
