Business Development Representative (BDR) – Legal Technology (Commission Only)

We provide solutions including Practice Management systems, workflow automation, and digital transformation services that help firms streamline operations, reduce friction, and work more effectively. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us grow our presence within the legal industry by identifying opportunities and building relationships with law firms across the United States. What You Will Do
- Identify and research law firms that fit our target customer profile (typically firms with 20–100 employees)
- Build and maintain prospect lists for outreach
- Present target prospect lists for review and approval
- Conduct outbound prospecting with a primary focus on cold calling
- Generate qualified meetings and consultation opportunities
- Build relationships with firm representatives and decision-makers
- Maintain prospect activity and notes within CRM
- Collaborate with leadership on messaging and outreach effectiveness
- Participate in weekly reviews and ongoing coaching discussions
Success in This Role Primary success is measured by generating qualified opportunities that lead to meaningful conversations and continued engagement. Performance expectations include:
- Approximately 50 meaningful conversations per week
- Approximately 20 meetings booked per month
- Strong meeting attendance and engagement rates
Compensation
This is a commission-only independent contractor opportunity with uncapped earning potential. Compensation includes:
- 10–20% of first-year revenue generated from sourced opportunities
- 5% of second-year revenue
Additional commission details will be provided during the contractor agreement process. Required Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of cold outreach experience
- Demonstrated experience booking meetings through outbound efforts
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Comfortable conducting frequent cold conversations
- Comfortable using CRM systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling to law firms
- Experience selling technology, software, or professional services
- Experience with Odoo CRM or sales automation tools
