Job Summary

As a Mandarin-English bilingual healthcare customer service representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and support. You'll be the first point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing timely and accurate information, resolving issues, and escalating concerns as needed. Your exceptional communication skills, cultural competence, and passion for healthcare will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers via phone, email, and in-person interactions - Respond to and resolve patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner - Communicate effectively with patients and families who speak Mandarin and English, using your language skills to ensure clear understanding and empathy - Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve patient issues and concerns, escalating complex cases as needed - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, using electronic health records (EHRs) and other systems as required - Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your knowledge of healthcare services, policies, and procedures - Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions for process improvements - Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field - Bilingual in Mandarin and English (speaking, reading, and writing) - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping - Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in customer service or patient advocacy - Knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA) - Certification in customer service, healthcare, or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative, Certified Medical Assistant) - Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with limited English proficiency - Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services, or a willingness to learn and adapt
