Job Summary
As a Tagalog-English bilingual healthcare customer service representative, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers. You'll be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support in a timely and professional manner. Your strong communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will enable you to build strong relationships with our customers and provide a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and empathetic manner
- Provide support and guidance to customers on healthcare-related topics, including insurance, billing, and medical procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and improve customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of arenaflex's products and services to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in healthcare
- Fluency in both Tagalog and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other healthcare technology systems
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in customer service or a related role
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, laws, and industry standards
- Certification in customer service or a related field, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Healthcare Customer Service Representative (CHCSR)
- Experience with language translation software and other tools to support language access
- Strong understanding of cultural competency and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles
