Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative II, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to policyholders and producers, handling inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You will work closely with other departments to respond to customer inquiries and provide inter-departmental support. This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle inquiries from producers and policyholders related to billing and payments
- Assist producers with quoting new business and processing policy endorsements and updates
- Collaborate with other departments to respond to customer inquiries
- Handle and solve producer/policyholder complaints with little or no supervision
- Participate in special projects, peer-to-peer training, and provide inter-departmental support
- Perform routine/semi routine, manual tasks in the process of developing basic skills
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year's personal lines experience in an office or call center environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to keep emotions under control when dealing with irate or hostile customers
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
- 4-40 Customer Representative License
- Satisfy most customer requests
- Demonstrate and set professional goals around desire to learn more about the company's products and services in pursuing their career development
- Provide assistance to peers and be a knowledgeable resource to the team
Preferred Qualifications
* Self-starter with strong initiative and close attention to detail
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
