Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries using a mix of personal judgment and AI-assisted drafts, ensuring that every interaction is personalized and empathetic.
  • Personalizing AI-generated responses to match the tone and style of our brand, while also ensuring that every customer feels heard and understood.
  • Monitoring and updating customer support templates and macros to match evolving customer needs and preferences.
  • Escalating complex or sensitive issues to internal teams, ensuring that every customer receives the support they need.
  • Handling refunds, cancellations, and exchanges through Shopify, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Managing chargebacks and submitting supporting documentation, ensuring that every customer issue is resolved quickly and fairly.
  • Processing customer requests for address, size, or product changes, with a focus on speed and accuracy.
  • Identifying and reporting potential fraud or policy violations, ensuring that our customers and our business are protected.
  • Keeping Shopify data clean and organized, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer support or operations role, preferably in ecommerce.
  • Proficiency in Shopify, including editing orders, processing refunds, and managing customer accounts.
  • Comfort with AI tools, including the ability to draft, summarize, or automate tasks.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to know when to rely on AI and when to step in personally.
  • Self-management, organization, and proactivity in handling tasks, with a focus on speed and accuracy.
  • Nice-to-Have: Experience with platforms such as Gorgias, Zendesk, Klaviyo, or Notion.
