We're hiring for an Experienced Customer Technology Specialist to join our team in Toscana, Umbria, Marche in Italy. As a key member of our Crop Protection Products team, you'll play a vital role in providing technical support for commercial teams, business partners, and farmers of crop protection products for a group of products, portfolio, and/or crops. Your Challenge:
As an Experienced Customer Technology Specialist, you'll be accountable for the technical expertise for a group of Crop Protection products portfolio, crops. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support for commercial teams, business partners, and farmers of crop protection products for a group of products, portfolio, and/or crops
- Supporting sales teams with sales and product training (new/experienced)
- Establishing/building relationships with leading growers, consultants, associations for product endorsement
- Guiding sales reps on high-profile complaints and 2nd line of defense
- Developing sales tools, product positioning guides, competitive positioning strategies
- Implementing demo/perception plots to support demand generation and product launches
- Coaching new hires on pre-call planning, sales process, positioning
- Total establishment/planning of field days
- Supporting customer needs at all levels
- Contributing to defining customer need for existing and new products
- Defining and leading demo trials to support portfolio demand and new launches
- Supporting R&D and marketing in product positioning
- Advocating for digital technology transformation

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Graduated Agriculture Engineering, Crop Protection preferred
- Master's degree or PhD preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of the Crop Protection Market (Crop Protection business experience preferred)
- Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Experience in seed business is an advantage
