Product designer - platform
Join Our Team as a Product Designer - Platform We’re looking for a data-driven, user-focused designer who’s excited about identifying patient problems and figuring out how to solve them. You’ll design elegant experiences across web and mobile to give our patients simple, accessible ways to manage their care better than ever before, help expand our growing design system, and ensure we’re always delivering the best experience possible to our users by incorporating data and rapid user testing into the design process.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $120,000 per year. Robust and affordable Health, Dental, and Vision plan options are available, along with a flexible time off policy. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan and stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Your Daily Responsibilities
- Take user problems from concept to visual design, supporting its implementation across web and mobile platforms.
- Experiment through prototyping, testing, and iteration to build experiences our patients love.
- Conduct rapid, intentional A/B testing and iteration.
- Participate in the discovery process to ensure that problem statements and hypotheses are driven from end-user and customer insights.
- Continuously seek and integrate user feedback and test results to optimize solutions.
- Give and solicit feedback from designers and cross-functional partners to create innovative and practical solutions to business challenges.
What You Bring to the Role
- 2 - 4 years of relevant product design experience, ideally at a consumer-focused, product-driven company.
- Experience creating complex user flows and interaction states.
- Ability to explain and articulate design decisions.
- Proficiency in creating high-fidelity mockups of your designs using Figma.
- Experience working with and updating design systems.
- Experience with A/B testing and usability testing.
- Proven track record of using both quantitative and qualitative data to inform your design decisions.
- Strong foundational design skills including an understanding of typography, color, and layout.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and our various brand teams.
- A portfolio that showcases your thinking, skills, and craft for design.
- Passion for making health care more consumer-centric and improving experiences for specialized health conditions.
Bonus Points
- If you’ve worked in health & wellness and/or e-commerce (subscription preferred).
- Experience on projects that are subscription-based or improve conversion.
- Foundational understanding of software development and common languages used in building web applications, i.e., HTML, CSS, and React principles.
- Familiarity with accessibility design requirements.
