We are seeking an experienced Customer Sales Manager to join our team in the Northeast region, where you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth, improving gross margin, and increasing market share.

Job Summary

As a Customer Sales Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for owning and executing the sales strategy for Kraft Heinz categories in the Northeast region, with a focus on Wholesale and indirect customers. You will partner with customers to understand their business needs, develop and implement sales plans, and drive revenue growth through effective category management and sales execution. Key Responsibilities

* Effectively partner with customers to understand their business needs, develop and implement sales plans, and drive revenue growth through effective category management and sales execution.

  • Achieve New Item Authorization goals, Distribution goals, and Base Business Objectives: Revenue and Share Growth, Authorizations, Distribution, Optimal Shelving.
  • Lead the implementation of Space Management Projects and achieve promotional revenue objectives by tactic, price point, Drive Period, and Selling Event.
  • Work with the Retail Team to effectively manage retail execution of all assigned category objectives.
  • Maintain files and business documentation to thoroughly detail business transactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including senior-level executives, to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and achieve business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to ensure arenaflex remains competitive and innovative.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

* Effectively partner with the customer, building rapport at all levels to fully understand their business, the marketplace, and affect positive business growth.

  • Achieve New Item Authorization goals, Distribution goals, & Base Business Objectives: Revenue and Share Growth, Authorizations, Distribution, Optimal Shelving.
  • Leading implementation of Space Management Projects.
  • Achieve promotional revenue objectives by tactic, price point, Drive Period & Selling Event while effectively implementing Kraft Heinz pricing strategies for owned categories.
  • Work with Retail Team to effectively manage retail execution of all assigned category objectives.
  • Maintain files and business documentation to thoroughly detail business transactions.

Expected Experience & Required Skills

* Proven and tested experience in customer management, account management, and/or retail sales management for a CPG company.

  • Tested ability to own business process and Category management through a complex Sales position where you owned a desk of at least $18 million of business.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft and ability to learn and be proficient in arenaflex systems and different customer portals.
  • Proven skills embodying a customer-first mentality for effective customer management and selling to achieve objectives.
  • Trusted to work autonomously within a CBT framework to plan, organize, and set/achieve priorities.
  • Clear examples of exhibiting polished interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with potential to negotiate and influence effectively.
  • Tested proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and proprietary Sales systems such as IRI, SAP, etc.
  • Clear examples of exhibiting strong analytical skills; Has the ability & experience using syndicated and/or ambiguous data to develop comprehensive business plans by analyzing category and brand performance and influences customer to achieve category objectives.

Work Environment & Schedule

* This position is considered a Field-based environment; role requires frequent travel to customer locations, stores, manufacturing facilities, etc.

  • Additionally, this role requires working a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations.

Physical Requirements

* Physical demands include but not limited to: + Willingness to drive and/or travel as needed. + Operate a computer and view screens for ~100% of work schedule. + Set up Food shows.
