Responsibilities
As a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving complex issues related to bookkeeping and accounting software. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert support to customers via phone, addressing their questions and concerns related to bookkeeping and accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrating proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software, as well as bookkeeping and accounting expertise, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related tasks.
- Delivering high-quality customer service, ensuring that customers feel valued, heard, and supported throughout their interactions with our team.
- Collaborating with customers to identify and resolve issues, taking ownership of customer concerns and providing confident resolution.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new features in bookkeeping and accounting software, ensuring that our customers receive the most accurate and relevant information.
- Working independently, managing your schedule, and meeting productivity targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software.
- Bookkeeping and accounting expertise, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality support via phone.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of customer concerns and provide confident resolution.
- Tech-savviness, with a strong understanding of computer systems and software applications.
- A quiet, uninterrupted workspace, with a dedicated desk area and reliable internet connection.
- A personal computer (no tablet), with a wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet).
- Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up-to-date.
- A wired USB headset with microphone.
- A Mac user? No problem! We accept Mac users with Intel-based machines and Windows 11 installed via Apple's Boot Camp utility.
Work Environment and Technology Requirements
As a remote employee, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

Important Information
* For this program, you must live and work from the United States, except CA, NY, PA, WA. We are currently unable to work with contractors residing in California, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington.
- Contractors must also successfully pass a criminal background check.
- The relationship between you and arenaflex is a contractual relationship. You will remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment. arenaflex will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with arenaflex.
