Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
- Handling customer complaints and concerns in a fair and empathetic manner, escalating issues to senior team members as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, including complaints, feedback, and resolution outcomes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in customer service, banking, and financial services
- Working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A strong educational background, with a minimum of 06 GCE (S/L) subjects passed simultaneously with 05 equivalent credits, including Sinhala/Tamil Language, Mathematics, and English Language
- OR a minimum of 06 subjects passed in the Edexcel or Cambridge Ordinary Level Examination, with C grades in 06 subjects, including English and Mathematics
- OR a minimum of 03 E grades in the Edexcel or Cambridge Advanced Level Examination
- A minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 23 years as of the closing date for receipt of applications
- Excellent communication skills in Sinhala/Tamil and English
- Ability to perform duties in Sinhala/Tamil and English
- High interpersonal skills
- Ability to withstand pressure in a busy environment and high academic ability
- Ability to work goal-oriented and multi-talented
- Willingness to work outside normal working hours and on weekends
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
- Previous experience in customer service, banking, or financial services
- Knowledge of banking and financial services products and processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
