The Role
As a Data Analyst on our Customer Success Analytics team, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Engagement Managers, answering analytics questions, and improving our code base. You'll work closely with our team to provide technical expertise, analyze data, and develop actionable insights to drive customer success.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze data to discover trends, root causes, anomalies, and other concerns to drive value for customers
- Validate customer concerns and develop solutions, responses, or recommendations
- Work with large amounts of data by writing and editing SQL queries
- Maintain and improve data pipelines written in Python, ideally with experience using the Kedro framework
- Develop, monitor, and iterate on production ML models (Machine Learning) a plus and a huge differentiator
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team to deliver value to customers
- Improve the onboarding process for future hires
- Present about yourself and your work at the company-wide meeting and showcase your work at the engineering tech talk
- Become involved in the recruiting process and help find more amazing people like yourself!
Security and Privacy Responsibilities
* Follow arenaflex's policy and procedure documents related to security and privacy
- Follow the guidelines in the Employee Handbook
- Follow the OWASP Top 10 guidelines when implementing and reviewing code
- Participate in new hire and annual training for security and privacy
- Treat data security and privacy as one of your primary job responsibilities
- Report Security Incidents you discover as bugs
- Get approval from the Security Team before adding new 3rd party software to our codebase
- Explicitly consider security implications when doing PR reviews
Expertise Required
* 3-6 years of experience working as a full-time data analyst
- Proficient in Python
- Comfortable exploring and answering questions with data and SQL
- Experience with time series data analysis on large amounts of data
- Experience with developing, monitoring, and iterating on production ML models (Machine Learning) a plus
- Automotive or telematics data experience a plus

The Onboarding Process
* Day 5: Learn about arenaflex's history and mission, get to know every team member, understand arenaflex's system architecture, deep dive into the nuances of vehicle data, and attend our weekly company-wide meeting and engineering tech talk
- Day 30: Understand the product roadmap and the pain-points of our customers, contribute new features to the product, refactor code, improve test coverage, or automate a manual process during an engineering hack day, be familiar with the day-to-day workflow of your peers, and develop rapport with the customers that you support
- Day 90: Support customers on a daily basis to deliver value, improve the onboarding process for future hires, present about yourself and your work at the company-wide meeting and showcase your work at the engineering tech talk, and become involved in the recruiting process and help find more amazing people like yourself!
