Key Responsibilities

As a customer service representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling incoming calls and making outbound follow-ups as needed, updating phone status accordingly
  • Navigating multiple systems, including phone software, documentation tools, and online resources
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records of calls and actions
  • Responding to inquiries via phone and email about COBRA, billing eligibility for insurance plans, and general questions about policies and payments
  • Providing exceptional customer service, professionalism, and a courteous attitude at all times

Schedule and Pay Rate

This is a temporary position requiring a 3-month commitment, with strong potential for hire. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM, and the pay rate is $16.29/hr, increasing to $18.22/hr upon hire.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in navigating multiple systems and software applications
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or healthcare setting
  • Strong potential for hire upon completion of the 3-month temporary position

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a medical or benefits plans environment

  • Familiarity with COBRA, billing eligibility, and insurance plans
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
