Key Responsibilities

As an Invocier/Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer and account information in our database
  • Preparing source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
  • Establishing entry priorities to ensure timely and efficient data processing
  • Processing customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies and resolving issues using standard procedures
  • Entering customer and account data into our system using keyboard or optical scanner, according to screen format
  • Verifying entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering information as needed
  • Combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete
  • Purging files to eliminate duplication of data
  • Maintaining customer confidentiality and protecting operations by keeping sensitive information secure
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Reviewing invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness before sending them to customers
  • Preparing invoices for services rendered

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Quick typing skills, with a minimum of 40 wpm
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • Computer savvy, with experience using database management systems and optical scanners
  • Confidentiality, with the ability to maintain sensitive information and protect operations
  • Thoroughness, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Clear handwriting, with the ability to read and understand a wide range of materials
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with customers and team members effectively
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience in a similar role, with a focus on data entry and customer service
  • Knowledge of Health Information Management Services and vital records control
  • Certification in a related field, such as medical records or health information technology
  • Experience using optical scanners and database management systems

Work Environment and Company Culture

As an Invocier/Data Entry Clerk, you'll work in a fast-paced office environment, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm. Our office is located in Las Vegas, NV, and we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and growth.
