Experienced Customer Service Team Lead – Airline Operations and Customer Experience

As a Customer Service Team Lead at arenaflex, you'll be part of the Centers and Gates or Stations Group within the Customer Experience Division. Your primary responsibility will be to drive, engage, train, and develop a high-performing team of customer service representatives. You'll also support your team's efforts in creating a safe, reliable, and efficient work environment while delivering a world-class customer experience.
What You'll Do
* Drive functional excellence by establishing a culture that focuses on empowering your team and celebrating team successes
- Lead airport teams to perform their work in a safe, productive manner and in compliance with regulatory, state, and local guidelines, including FAA and other government agencies
- Provide cutting-edge team support through various channels to deliver unparalleled customer service
- Mentor and guide team members in skill development, customer service excellence, and company culture behaviors
- Foster a climate of mutual respect and trust among team members
- Establish and advance effective relationships with external and internal clients that cultivate empathy, authenticity, trustworthiness, respect, and nobility
- Provide leadership and suitable support structure using effective resources to enable the team to deliver superior performance
- Evaluate functional climate and conditions to ensure corporate and local scorecard metrics are met through collaboration across divisions and levels
- Ability to work additional hours when functional needs arise
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and days off
All You'll Need for Success
* Minimum Qualifications: + Training and Previous Professional Experience + High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
- Preferred Qualifications:
+ Previous airport customer service experience + 2 years of experience leading others + Knowledge of company policies and procedures and functional automation applications
- Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:
+ Ability to extract the best performance from the workforce through proactive employee engagement and support for a comprehensive work environment + Ability to effectively listen – focusing completely on what others are saying, carving out time to understand the points being made, asking questions as necessary + Decisive ability to reason – using logic and thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, outcomes, or approaches to problems + Ability to monitor and evaluate the performance of self, colleagues, and the team to make improvements or take corrective action + Strong critical thinking skills + Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively + Ability to work under demanding functional circumstances + Ability to focus on and execute with a need to start and accuracy + Ability to use sound business judgment to resolve issues with internal and external clients + Ability to coordinate station activities and collaborate with multi-functional divisions and organizations to ensure essential needs are met for a safe, efficient, on-time operation + Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. + Has USPS freedom or the ability to obtain USPS clearance. USPS has a five-year US residency requirement.
