The Role

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team at arenaflex. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing highly automated, low-latency data pipelines that will enable data architects and end-users across arenaflex to work with insightful data at scale.

Your Impact

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will:

• Drive improvements to make our data analysis easier by designing and developing center data models and storage structures, all while grasping the needs of our clients.
• Create insightful data and metrics usable within a few moments of actual events occurring, and build streaming cycles for the result inferred events and total data.
• Model construction, storage, and access of data at extremely high volumes for our data lakehouse.
• Improve designer efficiency and self-serve solutions by contributing parts to our stream data processing framework(s).
• Own data engineering's framework as-code for provisioning services that allow our engineers to deliver mature software systems within a few hours.
• Build an elite cycle that will permit our systems to scale.
• Coach other back-end engineers in the group and assist them in growing.
• Construct and add to AWS high-scale deployed frameworks at the back.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Experience with Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with designing database items and writing SQL queries.
• Experience with planning and standing up APIs and services.
• Experience with system design and building internal tools.
• Experience with handling applications that work with data from data lakes.
• Experience with building internal Administrator domains.
• Good knowledge of and some experience with AWS (or, alternatively, has deep mastery in Azure or GCE and will learn AWS in a short period of time).
• Ability to proficiently pick an open-source or third-party tool to achieve what they need or, alternatively, can devise a quick and simple solution on their own.
