As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of arenaflex, interacting with customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner. You'll have the opportunity to:

Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Issuing, reissuing, and refunding traveler tickets
- Booking, ticketing, and confirming flight reservations
- Rebooking travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
- Performing traveler registration and front seat tasks (excluding curbside), correcting oversold seat tasks, and issuing upgrades
- Issuing vouchers and coordinating with project workers for traveler lodging facilities, meals, and transportation; coordinating refuel and refresh
- Performing traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/check
- Working entryway peruser/scanner and related duties to include pre-boarding, observing/checking carryon items and departure line models
- Working jetways/spans for purposes of boarding and deplaning travelers
- Making boarding and departure gate declarations
- Conveying domestic/international flight records
- Performing traveler service flight close-out methods
- Accepting, checking, and labeling travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and top-of-the-line ticket counters
- Maintaining a schedule of flight loading process
- Performing customer service hands-on training
- Processing and completing credit card baggage transfers at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations
- Assisting travelers with self-service kiosk registration and booth baggage handling at ticket counters
- Managing lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters
- Clearing/confirming international records at booths in the ticket counter area and activation stations
- Accepting and activating travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
- Assisting clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assisting boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, or unaccompanied minors
- Performing customer service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements
- Having standard and predictable attendance on location, including fulfilling any obligatory overtime requirements
- Answering and assisting during security and emergency situations
- Providing interfacing traveler door information
- Providing quality customer service in a professional manner and according to American's standards
- Adhering to organizational policies, procedures, and performance guidelines
- Completing task-related stages of training
- Complying with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA)
- Utilizing various internal resources/frameworks including during customer interactions
- Wearing uniforms as required by organizational policy
All You'll Need for Success
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree and prior professional training
- Bilingual language skills required in certain areas
- A valid driver's license as required by local authorities
- To meet FAA criminal history verifications to qualify for unescorted access awards to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
- To be able to obtain proper airport power and US Customs security identifications, if material
- Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or fingerprinting to meet organizational and security requirements
- To be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Preferred qualifications:
+ Training and prior professional training + Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service Frameworks + Past face-to-face customer service experience + Working in a high-speed environment
