Job Responsibilities:
As a Treasury Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to taxpayers through verbal and written communication. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and processing tax forms and correspondence
- Handling extensive phone and computer work
- Resolving customer inquiries and problems effectively
- Maintaining a safe and appropriate designated workspace for remote work
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer experiences
What We're Looking For:
* Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school
- One year of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems for the Treasury Customer Service Representative 6 level
- Two years of experience for the Treasury Customer Service Representative 7 level
- Three years of experience for the Treasury Customer Service Representative E8 level
- Must have a secure and sufficient internet access with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
How to Stand Out:
* Experience in providing customer service in a call center environment
- Knowledge of tax return preparation and tax statutes
- Familiarity with remote work environments
- Ability to multi-task and continually re-prioritize job assignments
