Your Role in Detail

As a Text Chat Operator – Customer Support Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for responding to live chat messages from customers on a business's website. Your primary goal will be to provide timely, accurate, and helpful assistance, resolving customer inquiries and issues in a professional and courteous manner. You'll work independently, using your problem-solving skills and knowledge of customer service best practices to resolve complex issues and escalate concerns when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to live chat messages from customers in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate and helpful assistance, resolving customer inquiries and issues
  • Use problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and escalate concerns when necessary
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and customer service best practices
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, communications) preferred

  • 0-2 years of customer service experience, with a focus on live chat or phone support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer bases
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Proficiency in using technology, including live chat software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Availability for 20+ hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of customer service software and systems, including live chat and CRM platforms
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
