Job Description Summary

The primary function of the Strategic Customer Representative is to increase market share within a select group of customers and high-profile job sites. This will be accomplished by increasing product awareness, efficiency of the corporate account office, evaluating new potential customers to the program, and managing the corporate accounts office. This position will also serve a mentor/liaison role in the overall go-to-market sales strategy for the assigned area, coordinating efforts between the PCM, DM, RSD, and RVP.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share within assigned customer groups

  • Increase product awareness and efficiency of the corporate account office
  • Evaluate new potential customers to the program and manage the corporate accounts office
  • Serve as a mentor/liaison role in the overall go-to-market sales strategy for the assigned area
  • Coordinate efforts between the PCM, DM, RSD, and RVP to achieve sales goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue growth and customer satisfaction goals

Essential Qualifications:

* Minimum 4 years of previous sales management experience

  • Customer service experience required
  • Knowledge of different phases of construction, equipment applications, features, benefits, operation, and specifications required
  • Computer literate, including Windows, Adobe Acrobat, and the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

  • Proven track record of sales success and revenue growth
  • Experience in the equipment rental industry or a related field
  • Knowledge of sales management software and tools
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
