Job Summary
arenaflex is seeking an experienced Remote Data Entry Clerk / Typing Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our digital database from paper documents. Responsibilities
- Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
- Type in data provided directly from customers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes, utilizing your knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our digital database.
- Update existing data, retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested, and perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk, with a strong understanding of data confidentiality principles.
- Fast typing skills, with knowledge of the touch typing system strongly preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
- BASIC understanding of databases and data management principles.
- Great attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- High school degree or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on education and continuous learning.

- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong understanding of remote work tools and technologies.
