Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and charismatic customer support representative to join our team. As a Field Service Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and mentoring high-performing teams of airline stewards, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:

* Assemble positive relationships with leaders and airline stewards to maintain labor force commitment, responsibility, and adaptability.

  • Lead the performance-based management of large teams of airline stewards on KPIs like safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, and more through acknowledgment, training, verbal and written delivery of corrective action, when necessary.
  • Advance health, wellness, a safe workplace, and safe work practices.
  • Ensure and address Quality Assurance issues like uniform compliance, overall performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with base support staff, other departments, and internal/external partners, including the Uncertainties Representative Association Group, to provide information and answers for continuous improvements for base functional requirements and staff or managerial issues.
  • Participate in leader flying programs; include in board customer and employee engagement while supporting airline steward teams.
  • Proactively respond and follow up on time-sensitive matters and competing needs requiring base communication, input, as well as feedback.
  • Offer essential support to airline stewards before, during, and after flight departure.
  • Serve as a contact and support for assigned projects within the base and department.
  • Discuss regularly with remote airline steward labor force from base location.
  • Embody Delta's Standards of the Street and guiding principles.
  • Practice health-conscious behaviors in every functional process and method.

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

* Ability to manage multiple and changing needs in a high-speed and continually evolving environment.

  • Should have the ability to handle confidential information with exceptional skill, caution, and discretion.
  • Probably demonstrated steady critical thinking abilities in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
  • Should have experience in training and delivering feedback for developmental purposes.
  • Should possess and verbal communication skills, as well as time management skills.
  • Should be capable with the use of standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • While not currently airline steward qualified, should be able to effectively complete initial airline steward training and maintain certifications.

What Will Give You an Upper Hand (Preferred Qualifications):

* Two years' experience in In-Flight Administration, three years Delta experience or potentially external administrative experience liked.

  • Four-year college education liked.
  • Working knowledge of internal Delta-specific applications.
