The Role

As an Experienced Customer Service Banking Specialist, you will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries and concerns through various communication channels, including phone, email, chat, and social media. Your primary objective will be to resolve customer issues efficiently, effectively, and professionally, while also providing feedback on call issues and escalating interactions when necessary. You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication, resolve complex problems, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Connect with customers via phone, email, chat, and social media to resolve their questions or concerns

  • Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues, providing empathetic and professional communication
  • Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Respond to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments, maintaining accurate records and tracking call-related information
  • Provide feedback on call issues, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process enhancements
  • Upsell if required, promoting relevant products and services to customers

Requirements

* High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Banking Experience (minimum 1 year)
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Proven call center experience (minimum 1 year)
  • Typing speed of 25 WPM
  • Proficient in PC operation and navigation
  • Entry-level network troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to set up home Wi-Fi network
  • Ability to set up and configure a router or switch
  • Core proficiency with a laptop or desktop computer
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stay composed and objective, even in high-pressure situations
  • Strong listening skills, with the ability to understand customer concerns and needs

Nice-to-Haves

* Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software

  • Familiarity with banking industry regulations and compliance
  • Knowledge of financial products and services
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
