Job Summary
As an Enterprise Data Storage Administrator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our data storage conditions, protecting data backups, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing continuous recommendations and best practices to the team. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise data storage conditions, including NAS, SAN, and DAS systems, as well as cloud infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
* Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of enterprise data storage conditions
- Execute and maintain enterprise backup and data security measures
- Proficiently manage and monitor reporting tools and software
- Execute predictive storage planning methods, based on industry principles and best practices
- Collaborate and communicate with application, database, server, and other technology teams on engineering and design choices to ensure suitable storage technology and design
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to adapt and prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing work environment
- Contribute clear and concise documentation for both routine and complex tasks
- Provide specialized support and guidance on complex activities such as installation, setup, and backup/restore operations for all systems
- Perform code updates and security patching to maintain the integrity of storage systems
- Apply general knowledge of Windows/Linux operating system concepts to interact with various stages effectively
Essential Qualifications
* General knowledge of data storage or related field(s)
- Demonstrated understanding of virtualization solutions
- Hands-on experience working with equipment (servers, LAN/SAN switches, storage, etc.)
- Familiarity with current and emerging data security technologies
- Knowledge of NAS concepts and protocols (CIFS, NFS, and S3)
- Operating system framework organization skills (both Linux and Windows)
- VMWare concepts and organization

- Ability to contribute to the completion of objectives related to specific projects
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Active involvement in IT equipment life-cycle management

- Ability to work autonomously under broad guidance
Education
* Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in Computer Science or a related field (a combination of training, work experience, and education may be considered)
