Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced ROI Data Entry Administrator to join our team, responsible for retrieving and logging medical records requests into our ROI system. This role requires a strong skillset in data entry, communication, and compliance, with a focus on ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of medical records released. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care and services, while contributing to the success of arenaflex.
Responsibilities
* Retrieve and log medical records requests into the ROI system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and facility guidelines
- Process client requests efficiently, maintaining communication with team members and clients to resolve issues
- Make decisions about what specific record components to release/make available, in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Review and apply HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance with privacy statutes
- Perform other duties as assigned, working within the scope of the position and direction
- Determine records to be released by reviewing requestor information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Complete release of information requests with complete accuracy and quality checks
- Retrieve patient's medical charts and pull medical records accurately according to requests
- Electronically transmit medical records to processing operations
- Record hours utilizing proper class codes and activity codes in the electronic time keeping system
- Adhere to productivity standards for each client's work as assigned
Requirements
* High School diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient computer skills, with experience in data entry and electronic database management
- Accurate data entry skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently in high volume production environments
- Ability to work effectively and independently in high volume production environments
- Experience retrieving information from computer database is helpful
- Dependable with good organizational skills and attention to detail
