Job Summary

As an Email Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer support through email, chat, and inbound calls. You'll be responsible for interpreting customer inquiries, responding promptly and professionally, and utilizing various resources to manage client-specific data. This is a remote work opportunity that requires a clean, noise-free workspace and a high-speed internet connection.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage client-specific data using various resources, including computer systems and databases

  • Communicate customer complaint trends and feedback to management, providing actionable insights to improve customer satisfaction
  • Perform basic customer account transactions, such as updating account information and resolving billing issues
  • Maintain performance standards and confidentiality, adhering to established departmental policies and workflow priorities
  • Adapt to changes while remaining productive in a fast-paced team environment, working cooperatively across all employee levels, vendors, and clients
  • Follow established procedures and company policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Additional Responsibilities

* Perform other customer service functions as needed, based on workload and call volumes

  • Participate in virtual training sessions via Microsoft Teams to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives

Education and Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent required; background in customer service is advantageous

  • Basic proficiency in PC use and skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Strong verbal and written English communication abilities, with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Minimum typing speed requirement: 20-25 words per minute; experience with using a 10key is preferred
  • Competence in basic math skills, with ability to perform calculations and resolve financial issues

Training and Development

* Virtual training sessions via Microsoft Teams, covering topics such as customer service best practices, product knowledge, and technical skills

  • Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, including workshops, webinars, and online courses

Work Schedule

* 20-40 hour work schedules available, with flexibility to work Monday-Friday 8:00am-9:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-3:00pm, and Sunday 11:00am-9:00pm

  • Remote work opportunity, with option to work from home or in one of our facilities located in Boone, Des Moines, or Wilton

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive base wage: $14.50/hour

  • Shift differential: $0.75/hour for 2nd shift and $3.75/hour for weekend shift
